What is ERP (For those who arrived here by accident)

ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning, here is the definition from Wikipedia. The interesting part about the name is that the core of the system is not the planning aspect, it is often the execution and tracking of all the transactions that go on within a business which is the biggest part of an ERP system, particularly in areas such as Financial's and Inventory.

An ERP system attempts to integrate all of the processes that a business will execute.
